Description
Meta Protease Inhibitor Cocktail, EDTA free (100×) is a ready-to-use mixture of six protease inhibitors (AEBSF, Aprotinin, Bestatin, E-64, Leupeptin, and Pepstatin A) that has been optimized to protect proteins from being digested by endogenous proteases and pepsin, including serine protease, alanyl-cysteine protease, aminopeptidase and aspartic protease. This cocktail is suitable for use in protein purification, Western Blot, Co-IP, ChIP, protein kinase activity assay ,etc.The cocktail does not contain EDTA(a metalloprotease inhibitor),which is incompatible with some downstream applications(i.e.protein assays, 2D electrophoresis,etc.).

    Meta Protease Inhibitor Cocktail (100×) is a ready-to-use mixture of seven protease inhibitors (AEBSF, Aprotinin, Bestatin, E-64, Leupeptin, Pepstatin A and EDTA) that has been optimized to protect proteins from being digested by endogenous proteases, including serine protease, cysteine protease, alanyl-aminopeptidase, aspartic protease,pepsin and metalloprotease. This cocktail is suitable for use in protein purification, Western Blot, Co-IP, ChIP, protein kinase activity assay.etc. It contains a separate component of EDTA which is incompatible with some downstream applications (i.e. protein assays, 2D electrophoresis, etc.).EDTAcan be added to the cell lysis buffer if it is required as a metalloprotease inhibitor.
